Distant Reiki is based on the same principles as traditional Reiki, but without physical contact between me and the recipient. 1. Before a Distant Reiki session, we will mutually schedule a time. During the session, you can relax in a quiet place while the healing energy is directed to you.

2. Wash your hands and find a place where you can be undisturbed for an hour. Put your mobile phone on airplane mode or place it in another room.

3. Sit or lie down comfortably without crossing your arms and hands. Simply try to relax and enjoy this time-out.

4. After a Distant Reiki session, it's important to do similar things as you would after a face-to-face treatment. This means taking time to relax and feel the effects of the treatment. It can also help to drink plenty of water to help your body detox, and to rest and maybe plan some quiet time for reflection.
