Reiki

Reiki is a holistic approach aimed at harmonizing the body, mind, and soul. This energy can be transmitted through laying hands on or near the body. As a Reiki Master, I serve as a channel for this energy. Reiki is a gentle and effective method that can be applied to people and animals of all ages and physical conditions.

During a treatment, I place my hands on various points of the body known as chakras. Chakras are energy centers responsible for various bodily functions.

The recipient may experience different sensations during the treatment, such as warmth, heaviness, or vibrations. The effects of a Reiki treatment vary individually. Some people feel the effects immediately, while for others, it may take some time before any effects become apparent

1. We discuss intentions or concerns. You remain fully clothed (except for shoes) and lie on a table or sit comfortably.

2. I begin by lightly placing my hands over or on specific areas of the body. These areas are chakras, the body's energy centers. It is normal to feel warmth, tingling, or deep relaxation during this process. You can simply close your eyes and focus on your breathing and the sensations in your body.

3. After treating the entire body, the session ends. You'll have time to slowly return to your daily routine. Then, we'll have the opportunity to discuss the experiences and sensations during the session and address any questions you may have.

4. After a Reiki session, it's important to take care of yourself. This includes drinking plenty of water to stay hydrated, getting some rest, and avoiding stressful situations if possible. It's also helpful to take a moment to reflect on your experience during the session and any insights or feelings that came up. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to discuss them with me.

What can Reiki treat?

Are there any side effects of Reiki?
Since Reiki activates the body's self-healing abilities, it may initiate a detoxification process after the treatment. This might lead to slight headaches and feelings of low spirits, which fade quickly and are part of the healing process.


What happens during a Reiki session?
Reiki is an energy practice. A Reiki treatment involves laying hands on or above affected body areas (Chakras) that are afflicted by ailments. This can be done directly on the body, or sometimes the hands are placed a few inches above the body, without direct contact.


Can Reiki release blockages?
Reiki promotes the body's readiness to activate its self-healing powers. It strengthens body, mind, and soul, thereby restoring harmony and well-being. Reiki can release emotional and mental blockages and balance the flow of energy.


How does one feel after a Reiki treatment?
Depending on what your body needs at the moment, each Reiki treatment can feel different. Often, however, a sense of security and deep relaxation, calmness, or inner balance is experienced. After the treatment, the body begins a detoxification process. This can lead to mild headaches and a feeling of dejection, but these symptoms quickly disappear and are part of the healing process.
